Nike Announces Blazer Mid ’77 Made From Hemp

Nike’s new take on an old classic is set to be released within the next few months. The new Blazer Mid ’77 is expected to be announced and sold in limited amounts, but this time made from hemp. The new model is made with a hemp weave throughout the entirety, with a sole made of recycled, sustainable materials.

The shoe will also have the word “HEMP” imprinted into the tongue. The sneakers will also feature a white design with a blue swoosh and red heel tab. There are also green accents on the upper eyelet and neon green insoles.

We are not sure exactly when the shoe is set to hit retailers, but it is estimated to be within the next few months. The shoes will be available on Nike.com and select retailers worldwide.
