In news that doesn’t surprise anyone, Washington D.C. voters are hugely in favor of Decriminalizing drugs (not just marijuana) and creating Safe Injection Sites in the city.
According to a new poll conducted by FM3 Research, 83% of citizens strongly or somewhat support decriminalizing drug possession.

Interestingly, when various pros and cons of full decriminalization was explained to those contributing to the poll, support dipped down to 77%. Not a huge dip, but telling in the sense that some may not be as progressive in their thinking towards drugs as they think.
The poll has a margin of error of +/-4.9%, and were done over the telephone or online with 402 likely voters this November, conducted between June 30 and July 8 of this year.
