The Roll-Up features Leafly editors Bruce Barcott, Ben Adlin, and Dave Schmader in a Friday morning roundtable about the week’s top cannabis news.
Leafly Podcast
The Roll-Up #51: Viva Las Vegas
A very special episode: Bruce & Ben roam Sin City to find out how Nevada’s legalization era is affecting America’s adult playground. Includes giant buds, El Chapo’s tunnel, the next Nevada governor, furtive consumption, a hit-and-run, and Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing Chevy Caprice.
What’s this show? Every Friday, Leafly editors Bruce Barcott, Ben Adlin, and Dave Schmader dissect the week’s top stories in cannabis with analysis, arguments, jokes, and obscure cultural references.
The Roll-Up: It’s a news and culture podcast, slightly elevated.

Meet the Next Governor

We tend to be one-issue voters here at The Roll-Up: Are you for legalization, or against it? Steve Sisolak, the current chair of the Clark County Commission, is running for Nevada governor and he’s all for legal, well-regulated cannabis.
He sees it as a great job-creating industry, and he’s confident his state can regulate it better than any other. (See under: gaming, experience, lots of it.)
His opponent, current Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt, was against adult-use legalization in 2016 and has barely lifted a finger to defend it against Jeff Sessions in the past two years.
