On Wednesday, September 25th, 2019, NORML testified at the DC Council Committee on Labor and Workforce Development in support of B23-0309, the “Medical Marijuana Program Patient Employment Protection Amendment Act of 2019”, which seeks to expand workplace protections for medical cannabis patients in the District of Columbia.
Looking to capitalize on the renewed effort to legalize adult-use marijuana in the Garden State, McKeithen and her team have organized another rally and lobby day to urge lawmakers to support SB 2703: the New Jersey Cannabis Regulatory and Expungement Aid Modernization Act.
The New Hampshire State House voted today to override Governor Sununu’s veto of HB364. The override effort now goes to the New Hampshire State Senate for consideration, and they are expected to vote on Thursday morning.
