Tax season came and went, and if you’re one of the lucky people who got a refund, you already know what time it is. Putting away money for your future like a responsible adult? Nah, it’s time to blow an entire bag on cannabis. And if there’s anyone who can tell you how to waste a bunch of money on green goodies, it’s ya boy, Danté L. Jordan.
Option #1: Actual Cannabis (Duh)
The easiest way to blow your tax return on cannabis is obviously…to blow your tax return on cannabis. Load up on the full smorgasbord of products from flower and concentrates to edibles and topicals. Or for purposes of efficiency, just buy an ounce of flower and make your own edibles or concentrates.
Option #2: Custom Glassware
You’ve been wanting some new glass for a while, and now that you finally have the money to make it happen, you might consider going the custom route. Whether it be a pipe, bong, dab rig, banger, or a carb cap, few purchases are better than owning a one-of-a-kind piece. This could prove difficult as it would require to either know or seek out a local glassblower, but with a little effort and finesse, you can make it happen.
Option #3: A Spiffy New Vaporizer
Top-of-the-line cannabis vaporizers often come with a hefty price tag. But now that the government has given you your money back, don’t run from treating yourself with the famous Volcano vaporizer. Or, if you’re looking for something on the portable side, the Firefly 2 is a great option for anyone looking to vape both dry herb and concentrates. A lil 2-in-1 ain’t never hurt nobody.
Option #4: A Rosin Press
Seriously, if you love dabs, there’s no better purchase for yourself than grabbing a nice rosin press. I’ve seen The Avid Dabber press many a nug into rosin, and boy oh boy, those dabs are delicious. Not only that, if you refer back to Option #1, it’s a way of saving yourself money and maximizing the potential of your flower.
Option #5: An Indoor Cannabis Garden
You’ve always wanted to grow your own cannabis—why not toss your tax refund towards a small home garden? A simple home garden can be built for as little as $100, so don’t assume this is too rich for your blood. Just make sure to check out your state’s laws on homegrown cannabis before tossing seeds into a closet.
